Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free Trial

All W9Ready plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start your trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. You may cancel at any time during the trial with no obligation.

2. Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through your billing settings at w9ready.com/dashboard/billing or by contacting us at hello@w9ready.com. Upon cancellation, your access to the Service will continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial months of service.

3. Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for a full year. You may cancel your annual subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the annual billing period. Annual subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of the initial purchase date. After 30 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused months on annual plans.

4. Exceptions

We will consider refund requests outside of the standard policy in the following circumstances: (a) a billing error on our part resulted in an incorrect charge; (b) the Service experienced a significant and extended outage that materially impacted your ability to use the product. Refund requests under this section must be submitted within 30 days of the incident to hello@w9ready.com with a description of the issue.

5. Downgrades

You may downgrade your subscription plan at any time. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period. We do not provide refunds or credits for the difference in price when downgrading mid-period.

6. How to Cancel

To cancel your subscription, go to your Dashboard → Billing → Manage Subscription. You can also email hello@w9ready.com and we will process your cancellation within one business day. Cancellation removes your payment obligation going forward but does not delete your account or data.

7. Data After Cancellation

After cancellation, your account moves to a read-only state. Your contractor data, W-9 submissions, and documents remain accessible for export for 90 days following the end of your subscription. We recommend exporting your data before cancelling. After 90 days, data is deleted in accordance with our Data Retention Policy.
