By accessing or using W9Ready ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by RK Ventures LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").
W9Ready is a software-as-a-service platform that enables U.S. businesses to collect, validate, and manage IRS Form W-9 information from independent contractors. The Service includes digital W-9 collection, TIN encryption, IRS TIN matching, readiness scoring, and data export functionality.
You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident or entity of the United States to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at ravi@w9ready.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
The Service is offered on a subscription basis. By selecting a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. All fees are stated in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service, including contractor information and tax identification numbers. We process this data solely to provide the Service. Taxpayer Identification Numbers (TINs) are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption and are never stored in plaintext. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, interfere with the Service's operation, or use the Service to collect information about individuals without their consent.
W9Ready is a data collection and validation tool. It is not a tax preparation service and does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. You are solely responsible for ensuring your compliance with IRS regulations and filing requirements. We recommend consulting a qualified tax professional for advice specific to your situation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RK Ventures LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.
Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease at the end of the current billing period. You may export your data at any time prior to termination. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Middlesex County, Massachusetts.
